Sometimes there are issues with using the generated ccxml file from GC. However if you are directly using a working from from CCS, I would expect that to work. I will have access to my F280025 target tomorrow and see if I can get it to work.

I am using GCv3.

To be clear,

1. I initially tried with no ccxml file listed, so that GUI Composer's default configuration should be used.  This did not work.
2. I took a ccxml from a working F280025 project, uploaded it to GUI composer,  made the necessary change to xds transport, and it did not work

I tried using a comparable target but I could not reproduce the issue. I am looking for an F280025 to try with.

I tried this with an F280025C LaunchPad. I had no issues connecting to my LaunchPad. I simply specified the deviceName and connectionName as you did. I did not even need to specify the ccxml file.

Can you export your GCv3 project and attach it to this thread?

I imported your project and tried running the application. I have not seen any connection issues:

Are you able to connect to your launchpad using any cloud tool like CCS cloud or online UniFlash?

I had not tried.   I just tried UniFlash, and I was able to read memory.  FYI...I *am* able to connect to the 28379D launchpad using a different GUI composer project.

Just to confirm, this is the on-line web based UniFlash and not the standalone desktop version, correct?

I don't see any issues with your project in regards to XDS connection. Like I mentioned earlier, I can connect to my F280025C launchpad without issue when running your application as-is.

Is there a way to increase verbosity / enable more detailed logging of the connection attempt from GUI Composer?

I tried exporting it as a stand-alone app, and it does connect that way, from the same PC.

In the tab that open when you run the application, press F12 to open the developer tools. Then in the console, enter:

> gc.console.setLevel("all",4)

This will enable full verbosity in the console. You can use the filters on the side panel to look for relevant errors.

FYI...I am able to connect with GUI Composer on another PC.  So it seems the issue is specific to my PC, and only with the 280025C.

Try uninstalling the cloud agent on the PC with the issue. If you are on Windows, you can do this using the Windows "Add or remove programs". It should show up as "TI Cloud Agent" in the list.

Once uninstalled, Try going to dev.ti.com or using any of the cloud tools and when prompted to install cloud agent, do so.
