Hi experts,

My customer wants to use DCSM for MCU encryption, and i can use dcsm tool to perform encryption. But I'm not sure how to do password matching and reconnect to F2800137，perhaps I should refer to Secure BOOT on C2000 Device(SPRACT3).

Do you have some examples of password matching in the boot process for F2800137? Thanks!

Hi Jim,

You just need to write the correct password value (128 bit) into CSMKEYx register to do password match. You can refer to driverlib function DCSM_unlockZone1CSM() in dcsm.c file in C2000Ware.

Thanks for reply. One more question is that where should i add this function in my code? Maybe it should be bootloader.

Jim,

I am not sure about that. Generally it's not recommended to include unlock sequence in you code because others also may try to use that function to unlock the device. In case user want to do that, they need to have proper security in-place to make sure it's not easy for anyone else to call that function.
