TMS320F280034: FLASH cmd file for F280034

Hi Joyce,

F280034 linker command file should be part of the CCS installation (example: C:\ti\ccs1200\ccs\ccs_base\c2000\include).

However, the entry point might be incorrect in this file - I will assign this post to the corresponding owner to help you further.  They may have the latest fixed file that they can share with you.

Attached are the linker command file for F280034. In C2000Ware, the linker command files are provided only for the superset part.

1. RAM - F280034_ram_lnk.cmd - /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/171/F280034_5F00_ram_5F00_lnk.cmd

2. FLASH- F280034_flash_lnk.cmd - /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/171/F280034_5F00_flash_5F00_lnk.cmd

Thanks for your reply but actually these still doesn't match with real IC. Customer has modified the cmd file and changed the OTP for right address by themselves. Now they've fixed the problem. Could BU update such issue? There are similar issues met by other customers for F280034/33 posted on e2e. It's not friendly for customers unfamiliar with 4/33.

Also, are there any user guide for Uni-Flash to change OTP? Customer feedback that using CCS they couldn't re-write the OTP successfully and they are not familiar with using uni-flash. They re-wrote the OTP by DCSM but want to change to uni-flash for future mass production convenience.

Thanks for pointing it out. Will file this as a bug and get it fixed in the next release.  Request you to share the updated file to confirm if the changes are correct.

Regarding DCSM programming:

You mentioned the customer wants to re-write the OTP.  Please note that OTP can't be overwritten since erase is not possible on OTP.  

You said they wrote OTP by DCSM but want to change to Uniflash - please clarify this.  What does it mean by programming the OTP by DCSM?  

Regarding OTP programming by Uniflash for production:  Uniflash can load the executable (out/hex) into the flash/OTP.  If user is able to load to flash successfully, the same procedure is applicable for OTP as well; there is no any separate procedure for it.  Let me know if they have any specific questions.
