INSTASPINFOCMOTORWAREGUI: Proper IQ

Part Number: INSTASPINFOCMOTORWAREGUI

Hi Team,

I would like to ask for some clarifications on the document SPRUHJ1I. Section 5.1 software prerequisite mentions that to select a proper IQ full-scale voltage the document says that it should be 20 to 30% more than the maximum value but it also says that the maximum value should be calculated based on motor flux. So which should be considered as the maximum value based on motor flux is 20 and the maximum voltage in the motor with back emf is 48V.

Can you please help clarify?

Thank you

Regards,

Marvin

  • If you want to use the InstaSPIN-FOC with FAST estimator, you have to use the IQ24 format that could be fine for most of cases.

The IQ full-scale voltage is related to the ADC scale voltage, you may set the USER_IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V equal or close to USER_ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V.
