TMS320F2800157: Power consumption in sleep mode

Team,

One of our automotive customer is using TMS320F2800157 part for BMS application. However, the datasheet available on product page doesn't have power consumption values. Please check page no. 46 of TMS320F280015x Datasheet. The values are missing and TBD can be seen.

Customer is really concerned about the power consumption in sleep and deep sleep modes. This data is blocking the decision making. Please provide the power consumption values at the earliest.

Do we have any indicative numbers that are available for already released similar devices like F2800137 ? or the power consumption varies highly between these devices even with similar set of features?

Sai,

There are no "sleep" and deep-sleep" modes in this device. We only have IDLE, STANDBY and HALT modes. It is important we use the correct terminology to prevent unnecessary confusion.

Considering they all are made with the same technology node, the current numbers should be comparable to 28002x or 28003x. It is important to bear in mind that current goes up exponentially with temperature.

For STANDBY and HALT, the room temp current is around 7 mA. At 150'C, it is around 30 mA
