run can_ex1_loopback.c demo debug on F2800137 development board, you can see that the received buf can receive data, this demo CANATX is GPIO20, with an oscilloscope measurement of this pin found no waveform, CANH and CANL did not have waveforms when measured by oscilloscope. can_ex5_transmit_receive.cCAN was used to transmit, but no waveforms were detected when measured by oscilloscope for GPIO32, CANH and CANL. the above operations are based on the Application Report Programming Examples and Debug Strategies for the DCAN Module document; Want to ask how to operate? What are the precautions?

I presume you are using the LaunchPad. On this board, GPIO5 is CAN RX and GPIO4 is CAN TX, as connected to the CAN transceiver. If you want to see activity in CAN_H and CAN_L pins, you need to configure these pins for CAN function. I have explained in www.ti.com/lit/SPRACE5 how to reconfigure the GPIO pins for CAN function. Also, to connect these GPIO pins to the transceiver, switch S4 should be in the position shown. This is clearly explained in page 15 of www.ti.com/lit/SPRUJ32.

As you said, switch S4 at the position you said, oscilloscope measures GPIO4 and GPIO5 without waveform output, check the program, in can_ex1_loopback demo, GPIO230 is multiplexed to CANRX and GPIO20 is multiplexed to CANTX, GPIO230 is not found. There is no waveform for measuring GPIO20, no waveform for measuring GPIO4 and GPIO5;
