TMS320F28388D: The GPIO input current.

Hi champs,

If the GPIO pin is configured as an input pin, my customer connects +3.3V to this GPIO via one 22 Ohm resistor, wants to know how to calculates this GPIO input current value, ont both cases internal pull-up enabled and disabled.

Please advise your comments on this question, thanks.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for your question.

The datasheet outlines the ILEAK current in the Electrical Characteristics table, which can be used along with IPULLUP for the pull-up enabled case.

The datasheet outlines the IPULLUP current in the Electrical Characteristics table:

For pull-up disabled, you can assume no IPULLUP current.

The test condition of IPULLUP is VIN = 0V, but in my customer's case, he connects 3.3V to the GPIO, is it correct we use this IPULLUP value to calculate the current value?

The test conditions of ILEAK is pullups and outputs disabled. I know wht is pullup disabled, but what is outputs disabled? Does it mean configure I/O as input pin?
