Part Number: TMS320F2808
Hi Team,
Here are some issues from the customer may need your help:
Symptom: An error is reported when the board emulation connection is connected:

Background: Several of our mass-produced machines have abnormal SCI communication after being used for a period of time. I analyzed one of the abnormal machine A and found that compared with the normal machine B, the SCIRX waveform of the chip is normal, but there is no output from SCITX. (This step excludes the problem of peripheral hardware circuit)
There are a total of 50 machines, and after a period of time, 7 machines have SCI communication abnormalities; after we replaced 7 machines with new machines, after a period of time, 2 machines have communication abnormalities again.
In the next step, I want to connect to the abnormal machine A for simulation, but I find that I can’t connect, and I use the XDS510 emulator; under the same environment, machine B can connect normally and run debugging.
I would like to ask, in the actual application scenario, may there be high-power equipment/interference around the machine for a long time to cause the two problems I mentioned?
In addition, is there a manual or guide for debugging the 2808 chip using the XDS510 emulator in the CCS 3.0 environment? Currently, I can connect to it using a normal machine, but I feel that it may not be programmed correctly, and I cannot set breakpoints in the C program. A breakpoint only can be set in the assembler of the initial interface.
