Hello There,

Right now I am using TMDSCNCD2800157 control card , for BLDC Motor Evaluation purpose using INSTASPIN-FOC Method .

My query is divided into following 2 parts:

1. C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_4_02_01_00\solutions\universal_motorcontrol_lab\f280015x I am using that CCS project.

Is there any document, How to use the user_mtr1.h file parameter for motor control?

2. How to tune Kp & Ki for our motor because there is default Kp and Ki in user_mtr1. h shown in attached document .

You may refer to the Universal Project and Lab User’s Guide: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruj26/spruj26.pdf and the comments for the parameters in user_mtr1.h. And you can find more details in the InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION User's Guide https://www.ti.com/lit/spruhj1. Some of the names have a little bit difference, but the document can be still as a reference.

You may take a look at Chapter 11 Tuning Regulators of the InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION User's Guide for the current PI regulator. The speed PI regulator should be not as the description in this guide, you have to refer to the codes in the InstaSPIN lab project. https://www.ti.com/lit/spruhj1. Or you can find some of the PI tuning guide on website since the typical PI is using in this lab.
