Hi ,

     We are working on the power converter, we want to use the security ic for our power converter , Can you suggest which ti IC we can use .

i was looking to bq26100 ic but it looks like used for only battery pack. Can it be used for hardware authentication?

Kindly suggest.

    Can it be used with tms320f28379d mcu but this mcu does not has any SDQ peripheral or communication protocol mentioned in the data sheet.

    Can you confirm or explain how to use this ic with tms320f28379d.

    Vikas,

                    It is not clear exactly what you are trying to do. If you are concerned about protecting your code in the Flash memory of 28379D, you have the on-chip DCSM module for that. If you are looking to authenticate the battery pack connected to your converter, BQ26100 may be the way to go. However, 28379D does not support SDQ interface. I checked our website and all products appear to only feature 1-wire interface.
