TMS320F280039C: STL_CLA failing at POST Test Vector 08

Dear expert,

I am trying to run the SW Test of CLA in my evaluation board and it is currently failing. I noticed the onliny failing test is the SPI test which I believe is Test Vector 8 and the returned status is 0x23, which means CLA STL overflow and PSA1 and 2 failing.

Can you foresee any reason why only this test would fail? Is there any special conrfiguration required for this test?

Furthermore, we are building our code in COFFABI format, therefore I modified the library files to adapt to COFFABI. I already did this on the past, so I am not expecting this to be the root cause of the issue.

Can you make sure that SPI B is enabled? Check that the PCLKCR8.SPI_B bit is set (the CLA_STL functions don't configure it). If it's not set STL_CLA_runPOSTMicro() won't be able to update the SPI B registers and the test will fail.
