In this DSP chip of TMS320F28035, two consecutive cases of DSP failure were found. The operating conditions used are summarized as follows:,
We tested the machine normally and sent it to the customer's site. After a round of testing, the customer upgraded the DSP program again and found that it could not be upgraded. After the board returned, it was confirmed that the DSP was damaged and the components were severely burned. After removing the DSP, our board power supply is normal.

With the information provided, there is very little we can offer. “Components severely burned” indicates a over-voltage/over-current situation. Perhaps there was a short-circuit of some kind. Or the DSP was subjected to a EOS/ESD event. This is not an issue with the DSP itself, but something external that happened.
