Hello,
I try to install the latest version of C2000 Ware on my M1 MacBook (OSX 13.3.1). I downloaded `C2000Ware_5_00_00_00_setup.app.tar`. After unzipping the file, OSX complains about the file "C2000Ware_5_00_00_00_setup" being damaged / corrupted (translate from german). Is this a known issue? Any alternative ways to download the package?
Thanks in advance
Torsten
Hi,
When an application gets downloaded from any source other than those that Apple seems suited, the application gets an extended attribute "com.apple.Quarantine". This triggers the message: "<application> is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Bin."
Remove the attribute and you can launch the C2000Ware installer .
To do this, open a terminal and type:$ xattr -c <path/to/C2000Ware_5_00_00_00_setup.app>
Pls try this out and let us know if it resolves the issue.
Best Regards
Siddharth

Glad to know it is working, will close this thread.
But need to understand how to get Apple/macOS to trust this application.
