TMS320F2800157-Q1: Boot pins GPIO24, GPIO32 configuration left open

Hi,

We are using TMS320F2800157-Q1.

If default Boot pins GPIO24, GPIO32 left open (not having external pull up or pull down) and OTP configured (use all default), will the micro boots into Flash boot on reset or waits infinitely in ROM boot?

Correction, I mean OTP not configured (no custom configuration, use all default).

Hi Kantha Urs,

Do you mean that you are not configuring any customer boot options only the default ?

Then the microcontroller will go into Flash boot.

HI Ronak,

As per datasheet, the GPIO24 and GPIO32 being 1,1 on reset will enter into flash boot mode. The pull up's on pins are disabled by default on reset.

How the pins will see 1,1 when left unconnected to enter into flash boot?
