I presume you have Code Composer Studio (CCS) installed.  Please install the compiler from within CCS by following the directions in the article Compiler Installation and Selection.

thank you very much, for looking into this. I have CCS installed, but I use it purely as debugger. All my builds are done, using CMake/Make. Having multiple CGT version installed, would be super helpful in case, that a customer would report problems with building our bootloader with a specific compiler version.

I tried your proposal, but that leads to a error message as well:

The Details button of the "Poblem Occurred" dialog just repeats the message: "No memedy found".

Would it be worth a try to uninstall CCS, if that blocks the installation of CGT?

One additional detail, that I've forgot to mention: The installation program of CGT consumed 100% CPU. If it would help, I could try to attach a debugger to the installation program and provide you with a stack trace.

Do you see the same thing when you try to install, from within CCS, C2000 compiler version 22.6.0.LTS?

The CCS screen shot was taken after I've followed the first step from your proposed "Compiler Installation and Selection." I just followed the step:

Install compiler tools using CCS menu:

• Help->Check for Updates

Original, I've tried to install the latest TI C2000 compiler, by downloading the CGT via ti_cgt_c2000_22.6.0.LTS_osx_installer.app.zip and run the unzipped executable.

Please use the method that starts Help->Install Code Generation Compiler Tools.  This allows you to select the exact compiler and version.  Please select C2000 version 22.6.0.LTS, then let me know how that goes.
