Hi All,

I have a query regarding the dual core lockstep in the TMS320F2800157. I want to run 2 different set of code in parallel. One set of code would reside in 1 core and the other in different core. I have following queries regarding this:

1. Is the proposed solution of different code section in different cores possible in TMS320F2800157?

2. Is there any application note related to this?

3. Is there any application note on how to use both the cores of the TMS320F2800157?

    Hi Dev,

    The F280015x has one lock step core and these cores cannot be configured in split lock mode. As such functionally there is just 1 core that is running code and so 2 sets of code cannot be run in parallel. To be able to do this, you will need to select a different device that has a C28 and CLA or a device with 2 independent C28 cores.
