TMS320F2800157: Importing project without copying it

Part Number: TMS320F2800157

I am trying to create a new application and would like to use the empty project demo as a starting point to speed things up. When I try to import this project I have no option to not copy it into my workspace. How do I go about using a template as a starting point while maintaining the sources outside of the eclipse workspace?

  • Hello,

Some examples were created with the restriction that it must be copied into the workspace to avoid modifying the contents of the SDK installation.

How do I go about using a template as a starting point while maintaining the sources outside of the eclipse workspace?

You can first import the project into the workspace and then copy the project to a location outside the workspace. Then delete the project in the workspace and import the newly copied one. There may be some manual tweaking of project settings involved after the copy.

    Thanks
