Hi,

I am trying to import example code of ethercat for tms320f28386d but I couldnt find any.

The path I am trying to use is like this C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_03_00_00\driverlib\f2838x\examples\c28x. Can anyone please help me to find out how to import example codes for ethercat.

Hi,

you can try out this path: C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_03_00_00\libraries\communications\Ethercat\f2838x\examples\

Import example project: Project > Import CSS Projects > Select a project file > Browse > enter your path here

Stefan is correct. Also there is a software guide located in \Ethercat\f2838x\docs folder: 'EtherCAT_Slave_Controller_User_Guide.pdf'

I got it and I have a doubt about hardware pins required for the ethercat.

Can you please let me know how many pins we need for Ethercat.

You'll use at least 37 GPIOs on F2838x for a two Port / PHY EtherCAT device. You can look at the F2838x ControlCard evaluation board schematic for reference.
