Hello everyone,

just a question of understanding.

An offset shifts the ideal DAC output line parallel up (offset > 0) or down (offset < 0). But in the picture it is not the case. Can someone explain to me why it is so.

Hi,

This graph is showing both offset error and gain error. I think the same graph is used later to show gain error.

You are correct that the line you drew would be a case with only offset error.
