Are you just trying to read data or are you trying to copy program code from the device to a PC, or something else? It's not really clear to me what you mean by "pulling the code".

I want to copy the code in the microprocessor to my computer. Then I need to load the code I copied into the empty microprocessor.

You can download the program the same way you can export data from a device; with a debug session open in CCS, you can go to Tools > Save Memory and select the format and address of the memory you're saving.

I believe this should be available on CCSv3.3, but let me know if it isn't.

When I try to save the memory, I choose the start address from 0x0 to 0xFFFF. Is this a correct method? Or should I choose the addresses in accordance with the scheme in the diagram below?

It seems like it, but you can check in the Memory Browser view while debugging to verify where your program is just to double-check.
