Dear Manish Bharadwaj,
In TIDM-1000 Vienna Rectifier, Can the switching pulses of Q1 and Q2 be complementary to each other?
Hi Srinivasa,
That would be a NO on TIDM-1000.
Refer to the PWM modulation scheme in the user guide

In the general scenario of Vienna Rectifier(same power topology), Please discuss how the switching pulses of Q1 and Q2 are related?
Hello Team,
I am expecting a reply.
Hi Srinivasa,
Thankyou for your patience, Saturdays and Sundays are off for us.
If you are specifically looking for Q1 and Q2 in reference design perspective, one is during positive half cycle and other in negative half.
Where as if you are looking for general scenario, our support is very limited. As our aim with the design is to provide an example of how to control a Vienna rectifier and how to tune the different loops using the C2000 MCU by considering specific use-cases.
Please ellaborate what in particular you are looking for (or) trying to acheive with vienna rectifier?
Thanks & Regards,
Uttam
Hello Uttam,
Thank you for the reply.
Actually I am designing Vienna Rectifier in Matlab-Simulink with the specification as follows:
Power = 550 kW
Vdc = 760 V
Switching frequency, fsw = 5 kHz
Sampling rate = 100 micro seconds
While I was referring to the research papers, I found that some authors are using same pulse to Q1 & Q2 and some are using differently. So, I want a vivid discussion for clarity if possible.
I have sent a message on your personal chat also.
Thanks & Regards,
Ch.S.Balasubrahmanyam
Unfortunately, we dont support to this extent from matlab-simlink design. This E2E forum is specifically for C2000 product based queries and again as I mentioned earlier we demonstrate a specific use case on the reference design purpose to showcasing C2000 capabilities.
The request you are asking for is a power electronics based request. You have to proceed with your due-deligence and identify which control method (or) switching method you would prefer for your specific application.
I would be happy to assist based on specific query related to C2000 (or) TIDM1000 reference design only. As there is no specific query at this time, I am closing this thread.
Best Regards,
