TMS320F28069: flash write program error

Part Number: TMS320F28069

An error occurred while burning a program to 28069's flash through the v2 emulator.

The emulator is connected to the development board properly, and SRAM mode can be used

C28xx: Error occurred during flash operation: Timed out waiting for target to halt while executing FlashAPIInterface2806xV1_00.out
C28xx: Error: (Error -1135 @ 0x8A2E) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 9.11.0.00128)
C28xx: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts
C28xx: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging
C28xx: Error occurred during flash operation: Could not read 0x0000800A@Data: target is not connected
C28xx: File Loader: Verification failed: Could not read 0x3F5330@Program: target is not connected
C28xx: GEL: File: E:\2806x\Flash_28069\Debug\Flash_28069-2.out: Load failed.

  • Can you comment if this is a fresh/new device that is being programmed for the first time, or an existing device that is being re-programmed?

If you open the flash tools in CCS, can you try to just "erase" the device to see if that passes?

    Best,

    Matthew
