Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH
Dear all
I installed Code Composer Studio 12.1 a while ago and could never used the debugger since then, because of issues with the Blackhawk Driver. We use the USB560v2 System Trace Emulator.
Now I reinstalled CCS uniflash and the Blackhawk Driver and now can flash the MCU device. No I expect to Code Composer Studio to be able to flash and debug the same device. Unfortunately it does not work. If I run the flash or debug command I get the following error:
This error is the same, as I got when the driver was not installed correctly.
When I test the connection I get the following message:
[Start: Blackhawk XDS560v2-USB System Trace Emulator_0]
Execute the command:
%ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag.exe -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -F inform,logfile=yes -S pathlength -S integrity
[Result]
-----[Print the board config pathname(s)]------------------------------------
C:\Users\RO112201\AppData\Local\Texas Instruments\
CCS\ccs1210\0\0\BrdDat\testBoard.dat
The [-d/-f] or [-X] options were not used.
This utility requires an emulator program or adapter file.
The board configuration file either did not name it at all,
or the named file was not found or lacked read permission.
The features of this utility are explained in the
[-h] option's brief help and the documentation.
[End: Blackhawk XDS560v2-USB System Trace Emulator_0]
It seems, that the driver is not visible to Code Composer Studio. How do I manage, that I can flash and debug with code Composer Studio? It seems strange, that it works with CCS uniflash but not with Code Composer Studio.
My versions:
- Code Composer Studio: 12.1.0.00007
- CCS uniflash and Emulator versions:

Thank you and best regards
Robert
