Hi expert,

F28388S has no CM4 core right? If we would like to use F28388S to do EtherCAT, the protocol will be running in CLA core? Are there any app notes for F28388S for EtherCAT?

For F2838x, the EtherCAT protocol can only be run on CPU1 (C28x) and CM cores.

There is no specific documentation related to EtherCAT for F28388S. For documentation regarding the setup and how-to for running the examples please refer to the following:

Thanks for your reply! So is there any use case that use C28x core to run EtherCAT and use CLA to run the control loops? Is that feasible?

The closest example that we have to offer is TIDM-02006, where C28x + CLA is used to run the control loops, while CM core is used to run EtherCAT.
