TMS320F28377D-EP: PIE Vector Address Validity Check - Default Handler

Part Number: TMS320F28377D-EP

Hello,

There is a PIE Vector Address Validity Check that does the following:

According to the TRM, if the PIEVERRADDR is left with the default value (0x3FFFFF) and there is a PIE Vector Table miscompared then the DSP will execute the default Handler at address 0x3FFFBE:

My question is, what exactly does this default Handler do? For instance, is it a loop forever? Does the DSP reset?...

Thank you for your support.
