TMS320F280049C: SFRA for plant and open loop data for PFC rectifier

Part Number: TMS320F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SFRA

Hello,

We are using F280049C for control of single phase PFC rectifier. This is a conventional topology consisting of bridge rectifier followed by single switch boost converter.

The hardware and firmware are both functional.

The closed loop control consists of outer voltage control loop and inner current control loop.

We wish to design compensator for current loop using frequency response data collected by SFRA utility.

To get the plant frequency data, we are running the system in open loop giving fixed PWM duty on which the SFRA utility is injecting the disturbance and the resulting current samples are collected to plot the plant magnitude and phase frequency response. However, the resulting frequency response curve shows lots of ups and downs, so I doubt if this is the right way to get the plant data.

Can you please reply?

With regards,
