TMS320F28379D: USB bootloader CPU2 loses its code when power is cycled.

Hi, 

Pls elaborate the steps that you have done to program the application on CPU2.

Following steps have to be followed

1. CPU1 Kernel receives CPU2 Kernel over USB and programs to shared RAM.

2. CPU1 Kernel then receives the Application for CPU2 over USB, sends this data to CPU2 Kernel using IPC.

3. CPU2 Kernel runs and programs the Application for CPU2 Flash

I have followed steps given generated .dat file from post build steps. and flashed using this command:

C: \ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_00_00_00\utilities\flash_programmers\usb_flash_programmer>usb_flash_programmer.exe F2837xD_usb_flash_kernels_cpu01.dat blinky_dc_cpu01.dat F2837xD_usb_flash_kernels_cpu02.dat blinky_dc_cpu02.dat  

flash status success for all 4 files. but after power cycled  cpu2 stops  its code why?

please help me.

Sorry for the delayed response, I was out of office for the last few days.

What is the CPU2 boot ROM configured to boot to?  Can you connect CPU2 using CCS and check if the progam is programmed correctly using memory browser?
