TMS320F28379D: tms320f28379d CPU 2 flashing problem

Hi,

When I am trying load into core 1 Ram and core 2 Ram it is working fine, and it is working fine with core 1 flash also.

But when it comes to core 2 flash I am unable to load the code. I am getting an error window as, it is working in low power mode do you want to exit from it (Yes or No) I did both Yes and no but it is not working.

Please help me to find out what the issue.

Aravind,

Is CPU1 running code while you are trying to program the CPU2 flash? I'm assuming you can connect to CPU2 with the CCS/debug probe; can you try and use the On-Chip Flash Tools(Tools->On-Chip flash) to erase CPU2's flash manually?

Thanks for the response,

I have stopped the CPU 1 when loading the CPU 2 flash.

I have tried to erase the CPU 1 and did flash to only CPU 2.

Aravind,

I'm not clear from your response if you are now able to program or erase CPU2 flash, or there was no impact. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

1) Is this happening on multiple units? Or one unit?

2) Is this on your custom board? Or on a TI control card or launchpad?

3) Can you send a snapshot of the device?

4) Which CCS version are you using? Did you try the latest CCS version?

5) Can you send a snapshot of the error?
