Did you mean to say that you have a TMS320F2806 device? The XDS510 is not supported by new versions of Code Composer Studio, so I would recommend using a different JTAG Debug Probe like the XDS100, XDS110, or XDS200, which are sold by a few different vendors.

There is not a public document with all of the JTAG commands as the intention is for most customers to use the functionality included with Code Composer Studio. It should be straight forward to extract the memory content. Is there anything else that you wish to do?

No I have a TMS320F206.  I have the XDS510 USB version and I wanted to know if it was compatible with my device.  I have the C2xx-CCv4.10-FULL version of code composer, but the USB driver for my programmer is not supported.  Do I absolutely need the XDS510PP for this device?

          This device is 25 years old now and the entire toolchain for this device is obsolete. I don’t think XDS510USB will work with the CC version you have. XDS510PP+ should work. But you may have a hard time finding a PC with a parallel port and I am not sure USB-to-Parallel port converters would work. All the tools you are trying to get to work were written for the Windows 98 environment. On a different note, Spectrum Digital shut down a few years ago.

I am aware that this product is obsolete.  However, is it possible to communicate with my chip using the Spectrum Digital XDS510 USB Plus.  It can be any executable or application.
