TMS320F28335: Is there any other mode instead of debug mode to speed up the processing speed.

Hi,

I have a question. I am simulating a while loop in my code which takes time to updates the values and see the outcomes of the values on my hardware which is also slow in response. Can we speed up the processing ? Or is there any other mode if we can use it instead of debugging mode?

Please suggest accordingly

Hi,

There is not a different mode for JTAG connection that will speed up the refresh rate of the registers in CCS, although you could try increasing the JTAG clock frequency in your target configuration. If you only care about reading the data at certain fixed addresses, you could maybe use a communication peripheral like SCI to write that data out, while using the DMA to move data to reduce CPU overhead.
