I would like to perform parallel communication using the 30-pin GPIO of the TMS320F2800137. We think the implementation itself is feasible, but can you advise us if there are any concerns?

Hi Conor,

Thanks for your question. What do you mean by "parallel communication"? Is there a specific protocol?
Either way, as long as you keep in the max switching frequency of the GPIOs (shown in the datasheet) and the I/O voltage levels it is capable of, then you can theoretically use the GPIOs to achieve any protocol you would like.
