TMS320F28388D: Hall Position-/Speed-Calculation with eCAPs on MATLAB/Simulink

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hi all,

I have a little problem with the eCAPs on the TMS320F28388D.

In the attached picture you can see the desired speed (above) and the actual calculated speed (below). The problem right now is, that the algorithm which worked on another controller doesn't work the way I expect it to do on this controller.

My main problem is, that there are a lot of spikes in the calculation and some sort of misinterpretations. I have made it in MATLAB/Simulink and on the second picture you can see the eCAP Settings.

When I turn the rotor with my hand in the External Mode and check the calculated position and speed it looks totally fine.

Did I forget something specific about this controller?

Thanks,
Baris
