Hi Team,
The FAST observer can converge the angle within one electrical cycle. What specifically does one electrical cycle refer to? Is it the driven carrier cycle, or the electrical angle cycle(360°)?

Thanks & Regards

More than one electrical angle cycle(360°) that depends on the motor and load.
But I saw in the universal_motorcontrol_lab_f280013x(5.00.00.00) that after the forced positioning is completed, the next PWM cycle directly uses the angle output by the observer, instead of using the angle output by the observer after rotating for one electrical cycle. Why is this?
The angle will be from a internal angle generator in the FAST library if you enable force angle. Otherwise, the angle will be from the FAST estimator directly.
