    Hi,

Could you please explain how to generate code from the sysconfig App?

    Regards,

    Mounika

  • Hi Mounika,

Could you please explain how to generate code from the sysconfig App?

Can you give more details on what you are trying to do.

if you are using a standalone sysconfig App, you can view the generated code in the generated files.

Here i have enables GPIO, hence the generated code will be present in the generated files section. You can view the initialization code, pinmux setting etc in board.h/.c files.

    Thanks

    Aswin

  • After saving the files and importing them into CCS IDE, I am unable to build the code, and the default option is displayed. Can you provide the FATFS code generated from the SysConfig for the following microcontrollers: TMS320F28069F, TMS320F28335, and TMS320F28379D?

  • Hi Mounika,

I suggest you to configure using the Sysconfig from CCS,installed for your project.

You can open an Empty example from the C2000Ware release folder C2000Ware_5_00_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\empty_projects.

This example does not have a syscfg support, for this you can add an empty .syscfg file after importing the example in CCS.

First import the empty example from the above path -> once the project is imported, you can right click on the project and add files.

Now you can add the empty sysconfig file and when a prompt message comes whether to copy/link, you can choose to link the file.

Now you can open the .syscfg file and do the necessary configurations.

You need to include the board.h header in your main.c file and call board_init() function inside main, which has the necessary initialization code for the configurations made in syscfg.

I am attaching the main.c file for reference.

You can create an empty sysconfig file be renaming an empty text file extension to .syscfg. (eg- emptyfile.syscfg)
