Hi,

May I have a question about F2837xD datasheet 8.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings?

In annotat (3) There is "Continuous clamp current per pin is ±2 mA.".

How long is this continuous? few mili second order? or nano second order?

My customer want to know that will 20/10/1 ms pulse current be allowed.

Hello,

The continuous clamp current happens as soon as the max current is reached. The clamping diode will turn on when the input voltage is a diode-drop greater than VDDIO or lesser than GND, and will stay on as long as that condition is valid.

Sorry for my question was bad.

In datasheet 8.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings, I think TOTAL Input clanp current is max 20mA.

But in (3), Continuous clamp curresnt per pin is max 2mA.

I want to know How much Instantaneous current allowed per pin?

And How long is this mean of "Continuous"?
