LAUNCHXL-F280049C: BOOSTXL 8320RS instaspin lab 3: immediate overcurrent

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Hello,

I am seeing an immediate overcurrent module fault after setting  motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine = 1 in InstaSPIN-FOC for F28004xC lab 3 . I hear the motor pulse for maybe 1/4 of a second before cutting out.  The motor does not move.  Disconnecting the motor fixes this issue, and the datalog shows voltage sinusoid is being output.  I have tried a second, much larger motor and it has the same result. I have played a little with user.h file and no setting of motor max current helps.  Changing the flux_exc_freq seems to help sometimes.  Switching frequency at 40kHz. Any advice?  I would be happy to collect data.  I can get access to an oscilloscope if needed.  Using a fresh install of c2000ware motor control 5.00.
I am using the BOOSTXL8320RS with a 14v power supply
