Greeting,
We are developing a bldc controller using DRV8329AEVM + LaunchXL-F2800137.
How can we develop a position control using the same.?

Hi Amal,
We don't have any position control software solution for the low-cost F280013x device. Our TMDXIDDK379D has some software solutions that include position loop, this is for higher performance C2000 devices however.

Are you planning to use a position sensor / encoder device?
Best,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for replying.
We are using encoder(400cpr) and our motor runs at 4000 rpm max.
We are developing a low cost position controller for agro-machinery automation which may not require ultra high resolution as normal position controllers.
Does universal motors control lab has any libraries regarding the same?

Hi Amal,
OK understand your goal.
Does universal motors control lab has any libraries regarding the same?
Sorry, but it does not have any position loop / controller implemented in the software projects. The Universal Lab focuses on lower performance current / torque and speed control applications. The best suggestion I have is to refer to our other solutions that do implement position control and try to pull the SW / logic into the Universal Lab.
I can suggest the FCL project below as well, Build Level 5. There is a project for F28004x and F28002x which are more similar devices to F280013x.
