customer asked for a 12Mbit 16bit data UART. Can this be realized with the CLB?

Hello Holger,

Unfortunately the CLB will not be able to implement this requirement for UART, as there are too many independent counters that would be needed and the speed/data size is not something feasible.

would that be the same for P65 which has higher clock rate?
