Hi,
I'm using SDFM together with DAC output to see the output from the SDFM module. I have few question about the resolution coming from the SDFM. DAC output maximum resolution is 3 / 4095 = 7.326e-4.
For SDFM, i have following settings:
SINC2
OSR 256
Clock = 20 Mhz
32-bit representation
I'm measuring the DAC output with oscilloscope and getting resolution of 0.021, which nearly 30 times worse what is supposed to be. I have tried SDFM with different sinc types and values and getting only worse results. Could you explain what affects the resolution and what could be solution to this resolution problem? I am using C2000 blockset in Simulink.
For the modulator I'm using AMC1304x.
