TMS320F28P650DK: ADC Repeater Module: reset action

Part Number: TMS320F28P650DK

Dear TI support team,

please can you confirm that: when the Repeater Block gets triggered by an event , I mean one described on the field TRIGGER of the REP1CTL register, the field NCOUNT belonging to REP1N register is loaded with the field
NSEL belonging to the same register ?

Based on that, can over sampling process restart without action performed by the user's code ?

Thank you very much,

Ettore

  • Hi Ettore,

NCOUNT indicates the number of triggers that are still remaining.  If this is not 0, it means that the repeater is still busy generating triggers.  The number of triggers is defined as NSEL + 1.  Yes, the values in REP1CTL register (MODE - either oversampling or undersampling and TRIGSEL),  and REP1N register (NSEL) will automatically initiate the oversampling process with no action from the user's codde.

    Regards,

    Joseph
