HI,

We are developing INSTASPIN project using controller F280025c,universal motor control version C2000Ware_Motor-control_SDK_4_00_00_00.We trying to tune a 5-HP ACI motor but we are only receiving (RS) values not getting (LS) values.(we test with a PMSM motors there is no problem)

The picture below depict the settings we implemented the corresponding results,and the challenges we encountered with ACI motors.

Currently, the InstaSPIN-FOC with FAST library in motor control SDK only supports PMSM/BLDC, not for ACIM.

Hi,

Any algorithm is there for ACIM motors auto tuning.

Hi Analogics,

It was my understanding the SDK supports ACIM, did you lock the rotor during mode Ls_d/q scan? It was said in forum UMCSDK does not support ACIM. The SDK4.0 has code to check for induction motor added for embedded ROM fast estimator though TI may not support it in the forum.

Just reserve for further support ACIM. Currently, the universal motor control lab has a little bit issues on identification for ACIM.
