Hello,

can we connect the SFRA GUI with LAUNCHXL-F28379D ? or any further connections required like SCI - usb adapters ? for this launch pad

Anoop,

Yes, we can connect SFRA GUI to LAUNCHXL-F28379D. There is no further connection required. But application need to support SFRA feature. Please refer to following document for enabling SFRA Functionality for application [-C2000Software Frequency Response Analyzer (SFRA) Library User’s Guide (Rev. A) (ti.com)]

but my doubt is SFRA using Gpio28 and 29 for sci communication. in launch pad these gpios are terminated in j9 connector, then how communincation with GUI will happen ?

Anoop,

SCI Buffers and Registers will be used to communicate with GUI, which will be used to create Boded Plots in GUI. GPIO Pins will be used for debug purpose and there is no hard connection required for GUI Communication.
