Hello,

I am using the can_ex1_loopback example for 29379D. When I tried to change the "Message Objects used (1-32)" for CAN using the .syscfg file, an error happened like below.

The default message objects are 1 and 2. But I cannot make any modification to it.

My CCS version is: 12.5.0

C2000 version is: C2000Ware_5_00_00_00

I am able to recreate the issue on my setup.

This issue was not present in previous versions, so will need to investigate and get back to you on this.

By the way, there are quite a few bugs when using .syscfg to configure the peripherals. Hope it can be better in the next release.

I checked with the sysconfig team and this bug has been spotted and fixed. The updated version is set to be released early next year.

Meanwhile, a workaround that you can use is as follows:

Open the syscfg file in text format and manually add the message object numbers as required. You can edit the configurations of these Message Objects in the Sysconfig UI itself.
