We're considering using the TMS320F28P650DK9NMR instead of the F28388 due to its EtherCAT connectivity and smaller footprint. However, it's currently out of stock and not listed on major distributors like Digikey or Mouser.
Do you have an estimated stock date for the F28P650DK9NMR on your platform and when it might be available on Digikey/Mouser? Additionally, could we access early samples in small quantities for development purposes?
Also, general remark, I've had difficulty finding the F28P65, as it doesn't appear in the C2000 listing/browser. The part number is occasionally noted as TMS320F28P650DK9NMR or XF28P650DK9NMR. Is it because it is a new product?

This package version just officially released to production end of last week.
There is stock available for purchase of both the production version
and the pre-production version

Also could you confirm the differences between production version and pre-production version ? Is there a preferable option to mitigate the risk?
