UCC28C42DR pin 1 (dot and dash)

UCC28C42DR device has two different options symbols for pin 1 (dot and dash), is datasheet covering it?

    The package drawings in the UCC28C42 data sheet show the area allocated for the "pin 1 ID area" and the example shown uses a circle/dot as shown below. The "dash" you are referring to is more commonly seen as a stripe across one end of the IC package. There is nothing added in the notes section to allow for a stripe (dash) and the package drawing below shows only the corner of the IC package reserved for what I assume could only be a dot because a stripe would go across the full width of the package.
