flash memory programming

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Hi

I am working with TMS320F28335.  I used internal RAM for programming  with CCS and I will  control relatively high voltage converter ( about 200V). My questions are

1- Is there any expected problem with such situation?.

2- Is it necessary to use flash memory for programming?.

Many thanks

  • Bassim,

I have not quite understood your question. But, once you are able to successfully build a project, you can easily change the linker command file (.cmd) file to execute the code out of RAM (or) flash.

Please clarify your question to allow us help better.

    Regards,

    Manoj

  • Bassim,

Recommend you using isolation between your PC and the hardware. This may be built onto the interface to the HW already (PC USB - USB-JTAG ---- Isolation ---- JTAG C2000) or available as an option for an external emulator (PC USB - USB JTAG EMULATOR ----- ISOLATION ------ JTAG C2000)
