TMS320C28341: SCI Multiprocessor address

For SCI Multiprocessor Mode, how to set up the address for the processor? How is the address match checked?

I studied 'Concerto F28M35x Technical Reference Manual' but couldn't find it. Should user provide code to compare if the address matches (either idle-line mode or address-bit mode)?

    Hi George, 

    Unfortunately we do not have example code on using multiprocessor mode, but we do have the SCI reference guide for 2834x.

    Setting up and checking the addresses is done by the end-user (as the addresses and applications may vary widely in how this gets used). So this would have to be implemented as a software routine by the end-user (to make a given device look for its own address). Here are a few sections from the guide (linked above) with some more details on this you might find more helpful:
