TMS320F2800132: Is PWM4-7 available?

Part Number: TMS320F2800132

Hi all,

From datasheet, F2800132 has only 6 ePWM ch, or 3 ePWM module. My customer has configured ePWM 4 and 7, and they are functioning normally.

I'd like to ask that

  • Which 3 ePWM is available, is it 1-3?
  • What happens if software configs a ePWM that is not available

    Hi Hang,

    Yes EPWM1-3 should be configured. We do not guarantee functionality outside of what is in the datasheet, therefore EPWMs 4-7 are not supported.

    Although you see functionality on this particular unit, future units of F2800132 may not have functionality on these EPWMs if you use F2800132 in mass production.
