BOOSTXL-POSMGR: Private support for debugging PM BISSC Source library

Part Number: BOOSTXL-POSMGR

Hello,

I am currently working with the bissc source code to implement the double bissc encoder and implementing it to our project f280037C. I have found some bugs in certain units that i would like to discuss with you in private because I am subjected to an NDA. I was wondering, would it be possible to receive in depth exaplanation of the CLB configuration. That is, FSM tables of truth, use for counters, HLC explanation ,etc.

Also, I have found and article where and implementation of Bissc is presented using the CLB of your devices . However i was not able to identify the different sections like clk MA generation, SPI clk generation and the System STM. If possible, I would like to discuss whether would be possible the implementation proposed or there are cases where it would not be working properly.

See the reference: www.mdpi.com/.../886

Thank you in advance,

David

  • Hi David,

Thank you for pointing me to the article. I was not aware of it. Unfortunately we haven't had an opportunity to go back and document the CLB portion of our design. I know that is frustrating; it is for me as well.

    Regards

    Lori

  • Hello Lori,

Thank you for your reply. It is a shame that the documentation is still not available. However, I was hoping that you could provide us at least orientation on how to solve the bugs we found if i provided a detailed description. If it would not be posible, could you please confirm us y that if we follow the article, it would be possible to replicate the same behavior? It seemed much more simple than the source code in bissc lib and I am afraid that the article does not contemplate all the cases. From my point of view it seems that it can do the work but I wanted to count with your expertise to confirm that.

    Regards,

    David
