TMS320F280039-Q1: Q100 device packaging confirmation

Part Number: TMS320F280039-Q1

Dear champs,

I checked F28003x datasheet, in "Package Information" Table in page 4, it says F280039(C)-Q1 have 100-pin and 80-pin package and F280034-Q1 have 80-pin and 48-pin package.

https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tms320f280039-q1.pdf?ts=1703470138191&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com.cn%252Fproduct%252Fzh-cn%252FTMS320F280039-Q1%253FkeyMatch%253D%2526tisearch%253Dsearch-everything%2526usecase%253Dpartmatches

But in "Mechanical, Packaging, and Orderable Information" chapter in page 257, it says F280034-Q1 only have 48-pin package, F280039-Q1 only have 100-pin package. It seems that there are differences in the descriptions before and after the datasheet. Which table should I refer to? Could you help to check it?

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Julia

  • Hi Julia,

The tables in the Package Information section correctly reflect what will be available for those devices, however, the 80-pin package has not been released yet. The tables in Mechanical, Packaging, and Orderable Information reflect the direct packages that are available right now (and align with what you can order from ti.com) so that is why the 80-pin package is not listed there. These 80-pin packages should be officially released starting early 2024.

    Best Regards,

    Allison
